This place still exists but doesn't appear to be a motel now...
ReplyDeleteThanks (as always) for posting!
It does still exist. It became the Dodge City Motel and was infamous in the 80s and 90s as a miserable prostitution and drug den. It was also perhaps the most forward of all the formerly glorious motels in greater Sacto to advertise its lenient policy of renting to people with bad credit or questionable proof of identity. It was closed down in the 00s, remodeled, and then reopened as the Ladi Senior Apartments. The neighboring Sands Motel echoes Dodge City's past today.
