Village Inn - West Glacier, Montana
One of the smartest new motor inns in the Pacific Northwest, the VILLAGE INN looks out from a mountain backdrop onto 10 mile long Lake McDonald on the west side of Glacier National Park, in northwestern Montana.
Mailed from West Glacier, Montana to Mr. & Mrs. Philip Lutzky to Brooklyn, New York on July 17, 1971:
We are the furthest North west so far. The entire park's lakes were formed by Glaciers. We're staying 2 nights on one these lakes in the Inn on the card. The water is close to freezing - from the winter snow that melted into it. Today is the anniversary of our engagement - 21 yrs. ago - remember? The weather is glorious & everywhere the accommodations are comfortable. Hope you are feel better. - Irene, Hugh, Janice & Andrew
