This famous midtown East Side landmark is right next door to Grand Central Terminal (at left in photo). Note the Park Avenue Ramp in the foreground which bridges 42nd Street and leads to the Commodore's famous Motorists' Entrance (center) up out of traffic at the side of the building. A registration desk exclusively for motorists is just inside the entrance.
