The Flamingo - Las Vegas, Nevada
One of the world's largest and most beautiful, this is a typical Las Vegas, Nevada scene where gambling is not only legal but ranks as one of the state's most important industries.
Mailed from Los Angeles, California to Arzy R. Gray & Family in Winfield, Kansas on June 17, 1957:
Dear A.R. & All - Nora Drove me here to Bernie's yesterday.. Today we've been on a long drive in Yoder's brand new station wagon! I have a reservation to leave here Tues on the U.P. as you planned. However if I could get a seat on the Chief of El Cap. I would love that way & get home sooner. But no seats available unless there is a cancellation. I hope Russells don't get there before I do. Nora drove us to Las Vegas& places were just like this card. I may come on Grand Canyon (no reserved seats) will let you know. - Ailene
