Don't be surprised when I tell you I did not go to N.Y. with E. I stayed at home & cooked oats for Papa. Eleanore returned Syn - had a lovely trip. Other side is a picture of her home - roomed with Mrs. Wells & Marjorie. Had only a card from Barbara last week and a card today from Frances. She is in Corpus C - sure you enjoyed your visit with Erma Ruth. School open. School opens Sept. 8 - no news - Love Mrs. H.

Dear Aunt Doris,
Had a wonderful time, having a hard time getting back to work. Will write very soon and tell you all about it. Hope we see you sometime during your vacation. You should take six weeks like I did. Suppose you're loving some hot weather.
