Hotel Hermitage of Nashville was named after the home of President Andrew Jackson - "The Hermitage", situated twelve miles from this hotel.
It is very comparable with Washington's Home at Mt. Vernon. A Robert Meyer Hotel

Sept. 30 - Dear Cousin - We came down here to visit Marian he met us at the Station. Sat. P.M. Stayed all night with us & all day Sun. We went to church to shows with him & out to the "Hermitage" which was very nice, he has been with us from 5 P.M. on Mon. & all day yesterday too. This is a lovely city is full of service men Love Dora & Neil.
