Alas, the Bel-Air Motel is no more. But it was here in 1987 when my husband and I moved to Bemidji, and we stayed there the night before we closed on our new house. The motel was very snug (heated by a wood-burning furnace). It remained for several years after that, but eventually I think the owners retired, and the motel was torn down to make way for a bank. Too bad--it was a lot cuter than the bank!
